Paris Jackson joined the rank of popular supermodels with her decision to sign with IMG Models. The 18-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson expressed gratitude and happiness with the new gig.
Working with IMG Models means that Paris will be rubbing shoulders with other supermodels including Gisele Bundchen, Kate Moss, Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid, CBS News reported. IMG Models is considered to be one of the top modeling agencies around the world, so signing with the agency could mean more gig for Jackson. IMG Models also represents Mick Jagger's daughter, Georgia May Jagger.
Paris' modeling projects have not been announced yet. However, it can be expected that IMG Models will do its best to give her the boost she needed in the modeling industry.
There have been speculations about whether the children of the late Michael Jackson will pursue careers in the music industry. It appears that no one is willing to try as of now as it would be difficult to work under the shadow of King of Pop.
Paris is also pursuing a career in acting. She will make an appearance in an upcoming episode of Lee Daniels' "Star." It is not surprising when children of popular entertainment people pursue careers in the industry, especially when the parents were able to become legends.
IMG Models has been recruiting famous people for its roster. Aside from Bundchen, Moss and the Hadid sisters, it also represents Karlie Kloss, Ashley Graham, and even Victoria's Secret 2016 Fantasy Bra model Jasmine Tookes and Victoria's Secret angels Candice Swanepoel and Joan Smalls.
With a roster filled with successful models, Paris made the right decision to sign with IMG Models. The modeling agency will be able to secure modeling gigs that will fit her branding.
