High School Counselor Fired For Having Sex Repeatedly With 12th Grade Student

High School counselor, Ellen Wermeling 32, has been accused of improper relationship with a 12th grade student at MacArthur High School. Reports say that the counselor was fired after officials discovered her having sexual relationship with an 18 year old student.

Documents from the court pointed out that the Wermeling was accused after the student told his football coach that he was having sexual activities for a couple of times, with the school's female counselor. The news broke out prompting the school's principal to call the police for further investigation. Instagram conversations were also provided to the police for addition information, and to prove that the student was spotted at Wemeling's resident on different occasions.

Interrogations made to the teen student, provided exact information on how the sexual encounters happened. The student detailed that he contacted the High School counselor about being bored on February 28. Wermerling then picked up the student inviting him to her apartment, that was there first sexual encounter. Similar events happened on March 6 and 8, where the two was able to have sex again on the same place. The student even uttered that there was nothing wrong with the relationship, and that he was already an adult at 18 years of age.

The High School Counselor denied all accusations that she was having sexual activities with the student, she also said that they were not communicating via the social media Instagram. She was reported to have deactivated her account the same day the allegations were made.

The high School Counselor, Wermerling was investigated by the police department and was charged for having inappropriate relationship with a student. She is now out on bail, paying $10,000 bond. She will also not be returning to her work. Additional statements from the student's parents are still unavailable, but sources say that once the investigation is finished, the case will be handled by the County District Attorney's office.
