Pretty Little Liars season 5 surely premiered with a bang tonight! Show fans really enjoyed the shocking twists and that finale gunshot that was shot in hopes of ending the incessant ordeal behind "A's" real identity. But in the process of unravelling "A's" identity, someone may have committed a very serious crime. Read on to find out who shot who!

Pretty Little Liars season 5 episode 1 began with Ezra being taken to the hospital. Of course, our girls are also there just like when we last saw them in the PLL season 4 finale. Aria was obviously the one who is most concerned of Mr. Fitz after all they are still together throughout this head-spinning ordeal on "A's" true identity. Nevertheless, now that someone has been put in grave danger, the liars are back in action, and that includes Alison. The girls are now more than eager to chase after "A."

Just as previous spoilers hinted, it seems that a love triangle is brewing among Aria, Ezra and Ali as proven by the scene when Ali asked Aria about her relationship with Ezra. But at least that's last thing to worry about for now. The girls' mugs have been shown all over the news and Mona saw it. With Mona teaming up with Lucas, what could possibly pass these two.

Then, there's this tricky scene where Ali could be seen wandering the hospital all by herself. Out of nowhere, "A" appeared and followed our lone Ali while she's running for her dear life on the street. When Ali ran through a playground, "A" could be heard asking, "Wanna play?" to the other in a really creepy voice that left most if not all of us hanging into our seats. However, it was time to drop the plan to "A" when all of the girls showed themselves, suggesting that "A" has absolutely mistaken. Oddly enough, a bunch of masked "A's" came out to play to ambush the girls and this was only ceased when the police broke the ambush up.

A couple of scenes later we saw Alison bringing our girls to the Fitzgerald Theater, the place where Ezra used to take her. A flashback was then shown to reveal that Ali also never knew at first that Ezra was a teacher. Does this mean Ali is back to rekindle her romance with Ezra? Maybe so.

Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Shana showed up to comfort our dear Aria, who is still worried about Ezra. Shana was of course sent by Ali to the hospital to comfort their friend.

And again back at the Theater, we saw our girls chatting before one by one they ended up napping, and to our surprise Ali's nap was interrupted when a black-gloved hand slowly grabbed her mouth and covered it from screaming for help. But yeah, it wasn't "A," it was just CeCe Drake making a not-so-friendly introduction.

Elsewhere, Mona's alliance was growing in number when Paige decidedly joined the anti-Ali cult. Spencer's sister Melissa may also be up for this kind of cult as shown in one scene.

Now in another interesting scene, we saw Aria calling the girls. And while Aria was seen very elated at the thought of Ezra making it out alive though barely able to breathe, Mr. Fitz whispered something in his hospital bed, and that something could be trickier than last season's finale.

Somewhere near the end of the premiere episode of Pretty Little Liars season 5 episode 1, we realized that Shana actually got around town pretty fast. She's no superhuman but she was at the hospital in one moment, then she showed up at the Theater the next moment, where she gunned down the girls. Because of this Ali was completely stunned as she asked Shana why she would turn against her. So what made Shana do it? In the not so conventional twist, Shana revealed that she's doing it for revenge since she once fell in love with Jenna and now she's after Ali for revenge. Shana even confessed to locking the girls in the lodge. So does this mean Shana is "A" all along? We're not sure either.

Fortunately, Pretty Little Liars season 5 episode ended with a bittersweet note when Aria managed to save the girls by appearing out of nowhere, grabbing a huge gun, and shooting Shanna right over the head. "It really is over. It's over," Aria could be heard saying when she realized that she may have already killed "A." The main problem now though is Aria staining her hands with blood by killing someone.
