Anna Kendrick graces this July's Elle issue and in a tell-all, juicy interview, the Pitch Perfect star admits she hasn't been hit on in five years! The 28-year old actress also opens up about her sex appeal and her steadily growing acting career in Elle's first ever "Social Media" issue.
Since "Up in the Air", Anna Kendrick reveals she hasn't been hit on despite being known for her sex appeal. "Up in the Air" was released in 2009 and starred veteran actor George Clooney. Her portrayal of Clooney's younger, competitive colleague gained her a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination and solidified her name in Hollywood at the same time.
The newly single Kendrick who only broke up with former boyfriend Edgar Wright last year insists that her on-screen appeal and real-life dating history tell two polarizing stories. "Honest to God" Kendrick adds.
Although Kendrick is seen as an up and coming bombshell, she says she has never "traded on my [her] looks." She credits her mom for her grounded upbringing. "When I was a teenager, I was an ultra-late bloomer, and my mom would say it was a blessing, because it means you never have to wonder if guys are only interested in you because you've got boobs. I would have been thrilled if guys were interested in me because of my boobs!" she tells the magazine.
Elle's first Social Media issue features the Pitch Perfect star reclining by the pool, lounging on a bed of lavenders, resting on a fur blanket with a white rabbit nearby, and posing alongside summer-theme backdrops.
For the rest of the interview, keep an eye out for Elle's Social Media issue due for release on newsstands this June 17 (select locations) and June 24, nationwide.
Anna Kendrick is currently filming "Pitch Perfect 2," which is set for release by May 2015.
