Jill Duggar and fiancé Derick Dillard have tied the knot in a big family and friends wedding in Springdale, Arkansas.

"19 Kids & Counting" star Jill Duggar, who is the second eldest daughter of Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob, is now Mrs. Derick Dillard, following the couple's intimate yet big wedding ceremony at the Cross Church in the Duggars' hometown.

The 23-year-old Duggar married her 25-year-old boyfriend in front of their over 1,000 gathered guests comprising mainly family and friends.

Highlighting the strict adherence of the "19 Kids & Counting" family's Christian values, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard shared their first kiss ever as lovers and as husband-and-wife in their wedding ceremony.

Jill's siblings were very involved in the event as most if not all of them took active participation throughout the ceremony.

According to Hollywood Life, five of Jill's siblings acted as her bridesmaids while two of her brothers acted as groomsmen. On the other hand, Jill's younger siblings took part as flower girls, ushers and ring-bearers.

Amid the beautiful celebration of Jill and Dillard's love for another, the bride's parents, Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob, couldn't help but get emotional.

"It really hit me that Jill was leaving as she was packing her bag the other night," Jim Bob told People magazine.

"We all realized she was really leaving. We are so glad that Derick is an answer to her prayers. It's an emotional time, but a joyful time," Jill's father added.

The Duggar siblings also expressed their thoughts on Jill's wedding.

"I'm very excited at this wedding," Jill's little brother Jackson, 10, said. "Derick is like a brother already. He tells jokes [and] he plays around with us."

Jill's younger sister Jinger also spoke of her sister's husband, saying: "Derick has such a tender, caring heart. I couldn't have picked a better person for my sister."

Jill and Derick's love story has been one of the major storylines in the reality show featuring the bride's family. The couple got engaged in April 2014 after a strict courtship, reported TV Guide.

As for why Jill and Derick waited for their wedding day before they have their first kiss, Jill explained to People, "I think it is safer and makes it more special to wait to kiss until your wedding day. To save the physical side of your marriage for your wedding day and not going further than you should - we want to have no regrets."

"You can really get to know each other on every level without the physical part of it," Dillard said in the same interview with People adding, "I am the most blessed man to have Jill."
