Ruslan Provodnikov is aching to avenge his recent loss to Chris Algieri, but the former WBO light welterweight champion is also eyeing a rematch with Timothy Bradley.

In an interview with BoxingScene, Bradley expressed hope that he will land a rematch with Bradley as he is also looking to prove that he won during their first fight.

Bradley and Provodnikov engaged in a brutal showdown for the WBO welterweight title in March 2013 in a fight where Bradley escaped with a close unanimous decision win, but most analysts are convinced that the result could have gone either way.

Provodnikov said that now is the perfect time for the rematch as the two of them are looking to improve their stock after losing their titles in their previous fight.

Bradley, the former WBO welterweight champion, lost his title during his rematch with Manny Pacquiao in April.

"I am ready to fight in the fall.  I would like to come to Bradley's hometown again and beat him more convincingly this time. We both just lost our titles and I think the fans would love to see our rematch," Provodnikov said.

Bradley, who is aching to come back from his first setback, recently said that he will have an easier time dealing with Provodnikov if ever the two of them collides again.

When asked about Bradley's comment about their possible rematch, Provodnikov said that Bradley should stop talking and let his first prove his words inside the ring.

"Well I think he had two good fights with Pacquiao but I don't think he's ever been beaten up more than in the fight with me and he knows it," Provodnikov said. "I think he should stop the talk and we should get in the ring and if he thinks it will be easy to just outbox me then why is he avoiding the rematch so much and saying that he would never get in the ring with me unless he was paid a lot of money?"

Provodnikov was being considered as Pacquiao's next opponent on November 22 in Macau, but the Russian brawler is now reportedly out of the picture after losing his title to Algieri.
