The Ellen DeGeneres-Portia de Rossi divorce rumors are said to have come from the fact that "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" host likes to make friends and mingle with other women most of the time. Ellen is even reportedly the type who would go spending some cold hard cash just so she could spend some time with her female friends over luxurious dinners and the like, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry.

Ellen has even made headlines and turned heads when it was revealed that she's getting a little too obsessed with Pamela Anderson that their questionable "friendly" relationship almost derailed DeGeneres' attention from her legal wife Portia de Rossi in 2013.

However, just as Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's relationship has started to heal, another cheating rumor against the former surfaced recently. Inquisitr was the first site to report that Ellen is now eyeing "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara after Vergara's confirmed split from Nick Loeb.

While the two have claimed that they share nothing more than just genuine friendship, Portia just couldn't help but get jealous time after time. "Portia always resented Ellen's friendship with Sofia, and now that Sofia is leaning on Ellen for support, she's even more jealous," an OK! magazine insider said.

Since they embarked on their married life journey in 2008, DeGeneres and de Rossi have faced countess split and breakup rumors. Guardianlv even noted that the celebrity couple have tried almost everything including counselling just so they could keep their marriage, and de Rossi has reportedly been very understanding towards DeGeneres' attraction towards younger women.

In a recent report from Celebrity Dirty Laundry, it was said that Portia de Rossi is looking quite thin nowadays and that her overt weight loss could possibly be due to the marital woes she and DeGeneres are facing. Nevertheless, it can be noted that Portia had battled anorexia and bulimia in the past and Ellen did everything to help her out. Thus, other sites claim that it doesn't make sense that the couple, who are trying to save their marriage, will allow one to go unhealthy and live sickly yet again.

In her new memoir "Unbearable Lightness: A Story of Loss and Gain," Portia de Rossi, who has been constantly plagued by divorce rumors, chronicled her struggle with low self-esteem that she eventually became anorexic and bulimic all at the same time.

"I'd never known a day when my weight wasn't the determining factor for my self-esteem," Portia said. Fortunately, all these changed when de Rossi met DeGeneres in March 2001. "Ellen has taught me not to care about other people's opinions," Portia said of her wife.

Now, to address the cheating and divorce rumors haunting DeGeneres and de Rossi for quite some time now, Ellen professed her unwavering love for Portia to People magazine saying, "I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do."

"It's what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We're really lucky because we know how rare it is." Ellen added and even hit back at the rumors that their marriage has been nothing but shaky. "There's not one ounce of truth to any of it. I am very happily married. The only thing we ever argue about is who loves who more, it really is true," she said.
