Have You Seen Paul George's Pretty Gruesome Lower Leg Injury? [WATCH VIDEO]

Sorry Paul George fans, but it seems that your idol basketball pro player will be missing some basketball court action for the time being after obtaining a freaky and quite gruesome injury during the fourth quarter of the Team USA basketball scrimmage in Las Vegas on Aug. 1.

During the said game while NBA star Paul George, 24, attempted his best to defend against an opposing player, he indeed up hurting himself in a leg break that was seen around the world.

In the live telecast video of the Team USA Basketball scrimmage, Paul George's leg could be seen slamming against the base of the basket and suffering some rapid twisting injury.

Viewers and fans who were streaming live online were left stunned an in at a loss for words at the sight of what appears to be the most gruesome leg injury in Paul George's career.

The agonizing injury that was caused by Paul George's lower leg twist towards the wrong direction has reportedly left the player with a fracture of his tibia and fibula bones.

While Paul George's leg injury is slightly less gruesome that what Louisville player Kevin Ware suffered in 2013, many fans were still greatly grossed out such that they quickly took to Twitter to voice out their thoughts on the incident.

"That Paul George injury scares me," @robby_16 wrote.

"As much as I yelled at #PaulGeorge during the heat vs pacer games it sucks to hear the news. He's a great player this is sad," @Dimplesx2x tweeted.

"Still can't get over that Paul George injury," @JeffG0nzales gushed.

"This is a very tough blow," Director of USA Basketball Jerry Colangelo said in an interview with USA Today following the incident.

"It's a first for us in USA basketball to have something like this take place. It's a tough situation for our entire organization, our coaches and players and very, very emotional. There's no way the game could have gone on under the circumstances," Colangelo added.

Nevertheless, it seems that Paul George's leg injury is not stopping him from tweeting his fans.

The following day after his gruesome injury and surgery, he wrote, "Thanks everybody for the love and support.. I'll be ok and be back better than ever!!! Love y'all!! #YoungTrece."
