Adrien Broner is looking forward to becoming a world champion again, and reports indicated that he is eyeing a showdown against Danny Garcia after his scheduled fight against Emmanuel Taylor.

In a recent interview, Broner, who is set to face Taylor on Sept. 6 in Cincinnati, said that he is open to facing Garcia, who is the reigning World Boxing Association and World Boxing Council light welterweight champion.

"Everyone knows in boxing you take one fight at a time. I definitely want to win a world title at 140 so I can be a 4-time world champion in 4 different weight classes at 25. Boxing is a business. I've got love for a lot of fighters in the game, but boxing is a business. If it makes sense, I'm with the money," Broner said of facing Garcia via Boxing News 24.

Garcia, who holds an impressive 29-0 record with 17 knockouts, is coming off a second-round knockout win against Rod Salka on Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Aside from Garcia, Broner, who is regarded as the heir apparent to Floyd Mayweather, is also eyeing a rematch with Marcos Maidana, the fighter who handed him his lone defeat.

The 25-year-old lost his WBA welterweight to Maidana after absorbing a unanimous decision loss in December in a fight where he was knocked down in the second and eighth round.

Maidana is scheduled to face Mayweather in a rematch on Sept. 13 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Broner believes that the reigning pound-for-pound king will emerge victorious again, and he'll eventually get a rematch with the 31-year-old Argentine after his fight against Taylor.

"It's a hell of a fight. Maidana is a tough opponent for anybody, of course I know that," Broner said via BoxingScene. "The last one was a tough fight for my big brother but he got past it like he always do. I feel like this fight is going to be an easier fight for Mayweather, but after that, I'm going to put on a show September 6th and hopefully I get my rematch with Maidana."
