Nike will release four excellent sneakers this weekend that will surely get a lot of attention once these kicks hit shelves.
Coming out this weekend is the new variant of Kobe Bryant's latest signature sneaker called the Kobe 9 Mid EXT, which will definitely turn heads in the next several weeks.
The new Kobe 9 Mid EXT sports a black-based textured leather upper that has snakeskin details and finished out a full translucent gum-themed outsole.
According to Nike, this edition of the highly-successful signature shoe of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar was made to embody Bryant's alter-ego - Black Mamba.
"Following a groundbreaking introduction, utilizing a Flyknit construction for the first time on-court, the Kobe 9 has been remade for everyday wear," Nike noted. "Built like the Black Mamba himself - stealthy yet aggressive - the Kobe 9 Mid Ext. brings the popular performance model to the streets. The design embodies Kobe Bryant's alter-ago with a subtle, snakeskin-embossed leather upper."
The Kobe 9 Mid EXT will hit stores on Saturday, August 23, at 8:00 AM EST for $225 per pair in selected stores worldwide.
Aside from the latest version of Bryant's signature sneaker, Nike is also set to release three eye-catching colorways of LeBron James's signature shoe - the LeBron 11 - on Saturday.
The LeBron 11 will come out in what is dubbed as the "Maison Du LeBron" collection. This collection includes three colorways -- Metallic Luster/Ice-Volt, Blue Hero/Metallic Zinc-Ice, and Metallic Zinc/Hyper Punch-Ice - that were made in connection to James' involvement in the world of fashion.
"Inspired by LeBron James' connection to the world of style and fashion, this LeBron 11, LeBron 11 Elite and LeBron 11 Low feature a variety of premium finishes and prints. Polka dots, stripes, neutral tones with bright pops of color and rich metallic define the collection," Nike noted.
The three colorways represents different variants of James' signature sneakers that also have different prices. The LeBron 11 Metallic Luster/Ice-Volt will be available for $220, the LeBron 11 Elite SE Blue Hero/Metallic Zinc-Ice for $295, and the LeBron 11 Low Metallic Zinc/Hyper Punch-Ice for $190 per pair.
