UAE Air Force Commander Applauds By UK Royal Air Force For Staging One Of The World’s Best Air Combat Exercises

UAE Air Force Commander Mohammad Bin Suwaidan Saeed Al Qamzi was applauded by the Middle East and Afghanistan commander of the UK Royal Air Force's operation for staging one of the world's very best air combat exercises last April.
UK Royal Air Force's Air Commodore Al Gillespie expressed his praises on the final day of the Advanced Tactical Leadership Course. The Advanced Tactical Leadership Course is an international major exercise hosted by the UAE Air Force. Eight Royal Air Force Tornado GR4 fast jets based at Royal Air Force Marham in Norfolk, England from 31 Squadron joined the exercise which opened last March.
In the course of the exercise, Royal Air Force aerospace battle managers, air crew and ground crew worked with the UAE Air Force counterparts to expand both air forces' ability to work and fight together.
The 31 Squadron commanding officer Wing Commander Rich Yates spoke that he was grateful for the opportunity to exercise in the UAE. This year's exercise was organized by Royal Air Force's senior liaison officer Wing Commander Dave Crump at the UAE Air Warfare Centre for three years. He said that the UAE has grown much more advanced and the Royal Air Force brought the lessons learned from its operations globally. The Royal Air Force officer also said that the combat exercises are more demanding today and the quality of training had markedly increased.
The UK Royal Air Force was impressed by seeing different nations with various levels of experience performing in an increasingly high standard exercise. They also commended the UAE Air Force commander for the Armed Forces' professionalism.
The Advanced Tactical Leadership Course saw unrelenting cooperation between the Royal Air Force and the UAE Air Force in the tactical management of air battles. The Royal Air Force also stated that the UAE is a long-term friend in which they share long-term interests. And that the UAE has been exceptional hosts and applauded their generosity with time and support for providing excellent training. The Royal Air Force was greatly impressed by the UAE Air Force capabilities.
In conclusion, the UK Royal Air Force officials were delighted by the extensiveness of cooperation and the strong camaraderie between the UAE and UK. And the combat exercise just proved to be one of the world's best as they both share their knowledge and experience to improve better and to be able to defend their shared interests.
