Floyd Mayweather Jr. is not expecting Marcos Maidana to change his tactics in their upcoming rematch on September 13 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

In an interview with BoxingScene, Mayweather said that he can see another "extremely dirty" fight against Maidana, insisting that the Argentine used dirty tactics during their first fight on May 3.

"I just have to go out there and just be me and be first," Mayweather said. "I can't really say how the fight is going to play out, but I'm pretty sure he's going to be once again extremely dirty and wild. My job is to keep everything under control the best way that I can."

Mayweather also insisted that the first bout was not even close contrary to what most experts are saying. The unbeaten champion said that the fight looked closer that what it really was mainly because Maidana prevented him from dominating with dirty tactics.

"The fight was not close," Mayweather stressed. "If you guys notice, I got tackled, the guy tried to knee me, I got a head butt, there were rabbit punches, there were low blows and the list goes on and on. He did a little bit of everything. That night I had to do two jobs; I had to be the boxer and referee, so I had to do two jobs."

The 37-year-old promised a more convincing win in their rematch because he already knows what to expect from Maidana, saying that he will not let himself get frustrated with Maidana's dirty tricks, while also adding that he will look to score a knockout victory to silence his critics.

"I'm just going to let the fight play out like it plays out and go out there and do what I do best," Mayweather said. "If a knockout presents itself, of course I'm going to take full advantage of a knockout. I always find a way. Whether I am 26 or 37, I still find the way to win."
