Kristen Stewart is an American actress who rose to fame when she portrayed the role of Bella Swan in the movie adaptation of the bestselling series "The Twilight Saga." She has an estimated net worth of $70 million and was named as the highest paid actress in 2012.

Kristen Stewart's career debut came when she was featured in the hit thriller "Panic Room" in 2002. Then in 2008, she played the role of Bella Swan, the determined love interest of vampire Edward Cullen portrayed by ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson, in the movie "Twilight" and it sequels. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Stewart's salary for the film's final sequel was $25 million with a percentage of earnings that could bring her overall pay to over $40 million.

Through Stewart's portrayal in the movie adaption of Stephanie Meyer's bestselling teen vampire novels, she became a bona fide star. She also reprised her role in the sequels New Moon in 2009; Eclipse in 2012 and in Breaking Dawn Part I and II in 2011 and 2012 respectively. The Richest lists Kristen Stewart's net worth as $70 million.

Since the box office successes of the "Twilight" films, Kristen Stewart has become one of Hollywood's top earning actresses. And along with her increasing net worth, she enjoyed the fame and popularity that came with the film franchise's success. Stewart continued to grow as a notable actress and landed more serious roles.

Aside from her acting career, Kristen Stewart made her way to the fashion industry and became the face of popular fashion brands, Chanel and Balenciaga. Because of her remarkable performances in her movies, she was listed as the highest-earning female actress in Vanity Fair's "2010's Top Hollywood Top Earners List," with an estimated net worth of $28.5 million for her movie roles in 2010.

But along with Kristen Stewart's fame, popularity and net worth value, she was also struck by scandals and controversies. In 2008, she was in a low-profile relationship with "Twilight" costar Robert Pattinson, but the two did not openly confirm their relationship status.  However, pictures and witness accounts drove intense media speculation and attention. Stewart officially acknowledged her relationship with Pattinson in July 2012. But fans and media alike were stunned when Us Weekly published photographs of her showing affection with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders.

"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," said Kristen Stewart in her public apology printed on People Magazine.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart ended their relationship. He is now reportedly dating FKA Twigs singer while Stewart was allegedly dating actor Nicholas Hoult. But according to a report posted by International Business Times, she was still hurt and the break up was still a sensitive issue.

This 2014, Kristen Stewart will appear on films "Camp X-Ray," Tim Blake Nelson's "Anesthesia,"  "Still Alice," "American Ultra," and on Drake Doremus' futuristic love story "Equals," alongside rumored boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

In December 2011, Forbes Magazine listed Kristen Stewart as number one on their list of "Hollywood's Best Actors for the Buck" and was named as the highest paid actress with total net worth of $34.5 million in 2012.
