Jason Miller is an American mixed martial arts middleweight fighter, who is also best known as Mayhem Miller. He was arrested after a nonviolent standoff with the officers of Orange County Sheriff's Department in California.

According to an ESPN report, the 33-year-old MMA fighter locked himself inside his Orange County home after the department officers tried to serve him an arrest warrant on previous criminal act charges of domestic violence, criminal contempt and stalking. Before he was arrested, Lt. Mark Kiernan of the Sheriff's Department said that Jason Miller was first approached outside his residence at 26262 Ave. Calidad in Mission Viejo, at which point he ran inside and refused to come out.

Before Jason Miller was arrested on Thursday, the MTV reality show host had been posting the SWAT developments from his verified social media account during the standoff incident. He live-tweeted the incident on his Twitter account which has over 200,000 followers.

The Los Angeles Times reported that after 2 p.m., SWAT members broke through the front door and Miller surrendered. A short time after, he was led out in handcuffs, sporting a magenta Mohawk.

Adding up to Jason Miller's previous arrest charges, the Orange County Sheriff's Department said that he was also charged with obstructing or delaying a peace officer as a result of the incident on Thursday, through which SWAT and Crisis Negotiations Team members responded.

Prior to the arrest of the MTV host on Thursday, Jason Miller was arrested in 2012 on an alleged burglary after a Mission Viejo Hills Church pastor discovered a forced entry and found him on the couch, naked. He was evaluated in a hospital then later charged with misdemeanor vandalism.

A professional fighter since 2001, Jason Miller has participated in several promotions during the course of his career, including the UFC, DREAM and Strikeforce, his last fight was profiled in May 2012. He also hosted MTV's "Bully Beatdown."

When Jason Miller was arrested at his residence, the authorities reported no injuries and stated that there were no known hostages involved. He was taken into Orange County jail and was being held on a $200,000 bail. He is expected to appear on court on Oct. 14, Tuesday.
