Kristin Cavallari Baby: Former Reality Star Reveals Struggles On Motherhood

Former reality star Kristin Cavallari recently revealed her struggles on motherhood. In an interview with Daily Mail, Cavallari shared her difficulties as a mother especially on her 5-month-old baby, Jaxon.
"They always say the second one is harder and that's very true," Kristin Cavallari told the Daily Mail. "Jax is a little bit more difficult. But he is still the sweetest and the best. So it's fine."
Cavallari is married to NFL quarterback Jay Cutler. The couple is proud parents to 2-year-old Camden and 5-month-old Jaxon.
Despite the fact that Kristin Cavallari is not a first-time mom, the 27-year-old shoe designer admitted she was slightly unprepared for how different motherhood would be the second time around. She said things are quite a bit harder with her second baby.
Kristin Cavallari shared that her 5-month-old baby is struggling with colic, a serious but common sickness among children that can result in hours of non-stop crying and sleepless nights. According to Us Weekly, Cavallari said Jaxon's colic has made things tough to handle.
"I was very colicky as a baby, so I guess Jax is a lot like me," Kristin Cavallari said of her son.
And while dealing with a baby with colic is not an easy and fun task, Kristin Cavallari and her husband Jay Cutler are enjoying watching their kids grow. She shared in an interview with Michigan Avenue Magazine in August that her husband is a great dad.
"Jay is a great dad. He's incredibly hands-on, and he has been since day one," Cavallari said. "It's so sweet seeing him with Camden and Jax, and there's nothing sexier than seeing your husband as a great dad. I couldn't ask for a better partner in this situation."
Kristin Cavallari has been very open about her views on health and motherhood. She shared that she tries to stay fit and healthy as best as she can.
"I don't eat any toxic chemicals, so I never count calories, but I'm always reading labels. I try to eat organic as often as possible. We do a ton of grass-fed beef and real butter," she shared. "If I'm going to eat something I want it to be real food - no fake, processed chemical crap. And I try to make sure I get in at least a few vegetables every day."
And on Cavallari's thoughts on motherhood, she said it made her realize what is important in life.
"You just have so much more love in your life," Cavallari told Line Magazine in September. "Motherhood really makes you realize what's important in life and puts everything into perspective. It's the hardest but most rewarding job."
And though having two babies could lead some occasional disorder at home, it also gives way to some precious moments just like what Kristin Cavallari shared on her Instagram two weeks ago. E! News reported the photo was taken with her two little boys "holding hands while they drink their milk."
"I can't handle it," the proud mom captioned the cute photo.
In spite of the difficulties and struggles Kristin Cavallari is experiencing, she loved being a mom. However, she recently revealed that she is not quite sure about having a big family.
"Before we had children, Jay and I both wanted four, and now we're thinking three, but we're just going to have to see how it goes," Kristin Cavallari shared. "Right now the last thing on my mind is having another baby, but it is a ton of fun."
"We love having kids... [Camden is at] such a fun age. He's just starting to talk, and he makes us laugh every single day," she continued. "So I do think we'll end up having another one, but then we're done. It's a lot of work, and being pregnant for a full nine months isn't the best thing in the world."
But when asked about welcoming baby Jaxon in May, Kristin Cavallari shared her sentiments on being a second-time mom.
"Well, it's a lot easier in the sense that you know what to do and expect, so you have a lot more confidence," she said.
