Shailene Woodley is currently on the lead for the 2015 People's Choice Awards happening on January 7, 2015. She is able to head the upcoming award's night due to her four nominations from her works on Divergent and this year's tragic romantic movie, The Fault In Our Stars.
The hosts of the show will be Anna Farris and Allison Janney. Executive producer Mark Burnett, the man behind the production of this award has announced yesterday November 4, 2014 that fans are officially allowed to vote for their favorite stars through the People's Choice Awards' website as well as on its official Facebook page.
Woodley's career is indeed getting stronger that she now will be competing against Hollywood royalties like Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep since she is nominated as this year's Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress along with those two. She is also lined up along with Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lawrence for the Favorite Action Movie Actress category. It is going to be an exciting day for Woodley because just the fact that she nominated along with those huge names in the business already counts as something. It does not end there since she is also nominated alongside Emma Stone and Scarlett Johansson as this year's Favorite Movie Actress
Meanwhile, the awards' show host Farris and Janney said that they are thrilled to host the event. Burnett also made a statement saying it is their job to entertain the people and having this year's show hosts will even make the awards' night more interesting because their chemistry on stage is perfect as well as their comedic timing. He is sure that no matter what happens that night, everyone is going to have a great time.
Tune in to watch the People's Choice Awards on January 7, 2015 and continue voting until December 4, 2014 to make sure that your favorite celebrity wins.
