Ariana Grande went from uploading cover songs in YouTube in the comfort of her bedroom to performing in this year's Country Music Awards in Nashville Tennessee on November 5, 2014. She is known more on the pop music category but the academy of country music still recognizes her presence in the industry so she was invited to hit the stage and wow the audience.
She literally light up the stage during her performance since she was wearing an outfit with LED lights on. Her short silver dress that blinked different colors while she was singing surely did catch the audience's attention as it made her performance even more unforgettable. She sang her song Bang Bang, which she originally recorded with two other heavy hitters in the music business, Nicki Minaj and Jessie J. Although the two other artists didn't join her this time, the performance was still a huge success.
Everyone was talking about her since her appearance especially when she was flawlessly hitting those high notes. Little Big Town joined her on stage to perform the song in which she stood out. Grande's outfit showed some skin since her top showed her stomach and her skirt was way up above the knee while Little Big Town wore something fairly conservative compared to Grande's outfit.
At first, a lot of people think she won't be able to pull the song off without the other original artists she worked with but in the end, it turned out really good. Although the country vocal group who joined her didn't exactly get Nicki Minaj's rapping part, it was still a great song number.
Bang Bang is a chart topping song that has made it to the number 3 spot of the Billboard Hot 100 list and it also hit the number 1 spot in the United Kingdom.
