Robin William Autopsy Reveals Actor Was Sober At The Time Of Suicide

Robin William autopsy - At the time he committed suicide about four months ago, Robin Williams was sober and did not have alcohol or any illegal drugs in his system.
Robin William's autopsy report, released by the Marin County Sheriff's Office on Friday, revealed that The Angriest Man in Brooklyn actor had taken only recommended doses of prescriptions medications.
The veteran comedian and actor is also reported to have been suffering from anxiety, depression, paranoia, feelings of compulsion and was on the onset of Parkinson's Disease.
The 63 year old Oscar winner's death has been ruled as suicide. Robin William's autopsy report confirmed that he died of asphyxia due to hanging. His body was found in his bedroom at his home in Tiburon, California on Aug. 11.
Reports indicate that a personal assistant found William in seated position with a belt wrapped around his neck. The other end of the belt was lodged between the door of a closet and a door frame.
Robin William's autopsy reports reveal that at the time of death, the actor was fully dressed wearing a black short sleeve T-shirt and black jeans.
The Sheriff's deputy Stewart Cowan said apart from these preliminary revelations about Robin William's autopsy report, his department would not be releasing any more information.
Robin William's widow Susan Schneider said the actor was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in Nov. 2013 after displaying symptoms associated with the illness.
Reports indicate that due to his increasing struggle with anxiety and insomnia, which caused him restlessness and sleeplessness, Williams and his wife were sleeping in different bedrooms.
Robin Williams had publicly discussed his struggle with drug addiction, but the actor had gone through rehab and was clean for years. He is reported to have last checked into a rehabilitation center in Minnesota in June. His wife told officials that the actor did not visit the rehabilitation facility this time for drugs or alcohol abuse. According to her, he was using the time at the retreat to iron out aspects of his life that he had trouble with.
Robin William's autopsy revelations come as all of Hollywood continues to mourn the death of a man who has been described as one of the best stand-up comedians of his time.
