One of Hollywood's seasoned actors Carol Ann Susi, who is known as the voice of Mrs. Wolowitz from the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, died of cancer on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the age of 62.
According to the executive producers of the show, Susi's character may be unseen by the audience because the writers have made her a mystery the entire show; but her talent was indeed no mystery and something the audience and the industry would say unforgettable.
It is still unknown on how her death would affect the show since they even gave her character a leading storyline for its 8th season. There are also no reports just yet as to whom do they think should replace her if they will decide to keep her character. On the other hand, it is noteworthy that Bernadette's character (Melissa Rauch) can perfectly do an impression of Howard's (Simon Helberg) mom.
Susi was seen in a lot of movies and different TV shows. She was also known for playing the role of the unemployment officer's daughter who George Costanza (Jason Alexander) dated on Seinfeld's The Boyfriend episode in 1992.
The late actress was raised in Brooklyn, New York and eventually moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. Her break came in when she got the role of Monique Marmelstein from The Night Stalker on ABC. After that, she was offered to be in big TV show productions like Cheers, Just Shoot Me, Doogie Howser MD, Seinfeld, That 70's Show, Married With Children, The King of Queens and many more.
Her passing is indeed a huge loss in the entertainment industry but her works will be remembered and she will surely be missed.
