The Cleveland Cavaliers will look to extend their winning streak when they collide with the Boston Celtics on Friday at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
Cleveland Cavaliers (3-3)
The Cavaliers, who are considered as one of the strong favorites to win the title this season, had a slow start this year after losing in three of their first four games, but they bounced back with two straight wins.
The Cavaliers are coming off a 118-111 victory against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday where LeBron James posted 32 points to go along with 11 rebounds and nine assists.
All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving also had an outstanding game against the Pelicans as he finished with 32 points to go along with nine assists and five rebounds, while Kevin Love added 22 points and five boards.
James, who is averaging 24.8 points to go along with 6.8 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game this season, is looking forward to facing the Celtics in Boston where he played his last game during his first tour of duty with the Cavaliers.
"Their fans know the game of basketball, they appreciate the game of basketball, and I love a little adversity," James said of Boston fans via ESPN. "They're one of the best at creating adversity, so it should be fun."
Boston Celtics (3-4)
Meanwhile, the Celtics will look to bounce back from their 109-94 loss to the injury-depleted Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, which came after scoring two straight impressive victories against the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls last week.
All eyes will be on Rajon Rondo once again as he tries to lead the Celtics to an upset win against the Cavaliers. The superstar point guard has been playing impressively this season as he is averaging 10.8 points to go along with 11.3 assists and 8.2 rebounds per game this season.
