Miss Honduras Missing: Beauty Queen And Sister Reported Lost Days Before Miss World Pageant

Miss Honduras missing - The current Miss Honduras, who is also a contestant at the 2014 Miss World Beauty Pageant, has been reported missing along with her sister. The two are reported to have disappeared after attending a birthday party this past Thursday.
The Miss Honduras missing - Maria Jose' Alvarado - is only 19 years old. She and her sister, 23 years old Sofia Trinidad, have not been seen since they attended a friend's birthday party close to their homeland in Santa Barbara, western Honduras.
On Monday, Honduras Police announced that the case of Miss Honduras missing and her sister had been reported by their family members over the weekend. The case has been put under investigation.
Reports indicate that at least four people have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of Miss Honduras and her sister. According to Honduran Police Chief Jose Colleo, among the people arrested are the owner of the venue where the party took place and the missing Miss Honduras sister's boyfriend.
Televicentro, a CNN affiliate, quotes Eduardo Zablah, a Honduran pageant director, saying that the sisters were last seen after the party entering into a vehicle.
The Miss Honduras missing was scheduled to fly to the United Kingdom to participate in the Miss World Pageant only a few days before she disappeared. The other contestants in the competition are set to begin arriving in London on Thursday. The organizers of the event have not commented on her disappearance.
The sister of the Miss Honduras missing, Sofia Trinidad, is reported to have been set to graduate with a technical high school degree before she was reported lost. She had also hosted a popular television show in the country.
"Open your hearts and understand my pain," the mother of the missing young women is quoted saying. "There is an all-powerful God that sees everything, and I hope you set them free," she pleaded.
The Miss Honduras missing won her crown in April after triumphing over 18 other contestants in San Pedro. The missing beauty queen is reported to have been dreaming of working with the Honduran government.
