Kendall Jenner recently revealed her sentiments about the much-publicized split of her parents, Kris and Bruce Jenner. In an interview with "Nightline," she revealed that fame affected her parents' separation. Kendall also shared how she learned to deal with the aftermath of excessive gossip.  

Kendall Jenner is a television personality, media host, and fashion model. She became a household name after grabbing public attention for appearing in the E! Reality television show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." She is also a multimedia celebrity who shadows the boundaries between high fashion, social media and mainstream media.

After the split, 19-year-old Kendall Jenner along with her 17-year-old sister Kylie have been co-parented by their parents Kris and Bruce Jenner. Her parents have decided to call it quits last fall after 22 years of marriage.

"It sucked," Kendall Jenner openly remarked about the split. "But it's not - I try to think of it as it's not the worst thing that could have happened."

Kendall Jenner also revealed her close bond with her parents during the interview, Us Weekly reported.

"I still am so close with both my dad and my mom," the reality star stated. "Nothing has really changed, except for the fact that now my dad lives on a beach, which is awesome. That's not that bad... everybody's happy."

Kendall Jenner also added that though it was challenging to watch her parents' split grabbing much public attention, she said that she understood that scrutiny comes with fame's territory.

"If you just ignore it and go on and you're like, 'I know what's real,'" Kendall Jenner said. "My family, my friends, they know what's real. So what else, why does that matter?"

Despite her parents' split, Kendall Jenner focused on her modelling career instead of paying so much attention with nasty separation gossips. And this weekend, it was publicly announced that she had landed a huge cosmetic contract as Estee Lauder's newest face.

Kendall Jenner is highly recognized for being a part of the notorious reality TV Kardashian-Jenner clan. As reported by ABC News, she revealed that she tried to detach herself from her family in an attempt to make it as a serious model. She claimed that her latest success came mostly by her own merit.

"I'm not trying to use a family name or anything," Jenner said during the "Nightline" interview. "In reality I worked pretty hard for this... It wasn't like I just got it magically and it just happened."

After Kendall Jenner's parents decided to split, she remained resilient about the tempest of rumors surrounding the separation and concentrated on establishing a career in the fashion industry.
