TV Land announced that their sitcom Hot in Cleveland is going to be cancelled after its 6th season. The show stars Betty White and the season premier aired on November 5.

The network said that they are honor to have worked with Valerie Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White along with their executive producers Suzanne Martin, Todd Milliner, Sean Hayes and the rest of their crew. The network promises a great finale this season and it is something the crowd won't forget.

The network decided to oust the show due to the drop of viewers that it got since their 5th season. Unfortunately, their viewers even dropped to less than a million that it reached a low point of 660,000 followers.

The show had a good run that it was successful enough to once become the network's highest rated sitcom. It has a good set of writers and producers so that's not a wonder why it last 5 years on television.

It was on May 1st of this year that the show was renewed for its 6th season but has reached an end due to the drop in ratings. It is filmed inside a live studio audience at CBS in Los Angeles, California. Comedian Sean Hayes from Will & Grace is one of its executive producers.

The cast are grateful enough for their run and they took to twitter their overwhelming gratitude for their fans who have been supporting them since day 1.
