FSU Shooting: Police Kill Shooter After He Attacks 3 People In Florida State University Library

FSU shooting club - A gunman who opened fire on three people inside Florida State University campus on Thursday morning has been killed by the Police after he reportedly shot at them.
Tallahassee Police reports indicate that the fatal incident took place at FSU's campus Strozier library. Witnesses say four gun shots were heard on the first floor of the library where the FSU shooting incident occurred.
Officials say the three victims of the FSU shooting have since been taken to the Tallahassee Memorial hospital, where there are being treaed for gunshot wounds.
The identities of the victims of the FSU shooting have not yet been released. It's unclear if they were students and what condition they were in before they were taken to the hospital.
The FSU vice President of student affairs Mary Coburn revealed that the gunman, whose identity has not also been released, was shot and killed by campus police.
The Tallahassee Police have since taken over the case from the FSU Department of Police. Over 30 cops are reported to have responded to the FSU shooting. They have since secured the crime scene and surrounding areas.
Authorities alerted over 40,000 FSU students through a campus telephone that a shooter was on the loose and everyone should take shelter. The message also warned students to stay away from windows and doors.
The lock down on the FSU campus has since been lifted.
Officials believe the gunman acted alone. Police say there are no lingering threats as a result of the FSU shooting incident.
Nikolai Hernandez, a freshman, said the FSU shooting incident made him worry for his safety. "It makes me definitely a little bit nervous. I was supposed to in the library. I had a paper to do and I got lazy and decided not to do it," he revealed.
FSU campus police and school authorities have announced that counseling would be made readily available for students.
News of the FSU shooting went viral on social media. Many students used the hashtag '#prayforFSU' while sharing their thoughts and messages of goodwill to the victims and other students.
