Security breach San Jose Airport - A 39-year-old man has been charged with trespassing and possessing a stolen vehicle after he was apprehended at Terminal B of the Mineta San Jose Airport on Sunday.

It is unclear why Miguel Zaragoza ventured to cause the security breach at San Jose Airport. But airport officials have downplayed the incident.

"The layers of security worked," airport spokesperson Rosemary Barnes said. "We are all eyes and ears for maintaining security here. Our staff sprang into action right away and ensured the safety of our airport."

She revealed that at about 10:15 a.m. Zaragoza was spotted in a restricted part of the western area of the airport by Atlantic Aviation employees. They proceeded to bring the security breach at San Jose airport under control by taking the suspect to a waiting area and calling the cops.

But the suspect escaped into a nearby parking lot and stole a vehicle after he was denied a ride by an airport employee.

"He asked the airport maintenance worker for a ride to the terminal. The answer was no. So he proceeded to somehow get into the maintenance vehicle and drive on the street side to the airport terminal," Barnes said.

Airport spokesperson Heather Randol has assured the public that Zaragoza never reached the runway area before he was apprehended. She further revealed that he was taken to the hospital for a medical checkup after he was arrested because he was acting strangely. Doctors reportedly cleared him before he was charged by the police for the security breach at San Jose Airport.

Reports indicate that the security breach at San Jose Airport never affected its operations. According to Barnes, TSA, Atlantic Aviation and San Jose police are all investigating the bizarre incident.

This is the third security breach at San Jose Airport this year. But experts say this particular incident is a commonplace occurrence. Nonetheless, the motive of the suspect remains unclear.
