Why Prince Harry Dislikes The Social Media?

Earlier this year, Prince Harry revealed his dislike for the social media during an impromptu interview for the Invictus Games. The royal prince admitted that he is not fond of any social networking site due to its invasive nature. Though he's no stranger to selfies and Twitter posts, he emphasized that he would only go to social media to promote special causes.
Prince Harry's revelation about his aversions on social media came when he spoke with students at Bethnal Green Academy in east London last July, where he was introduced to the 60 "digital media champions" lined up to help promote the Invictus Games, a multisport event designed for wounded soldiers, held last September.
"I would love to get involved and go on social media and if it was for causes like this I really would," Prince Harry answered when asked if he will be tweeting for the Paralympic-style games. "The issue for myself and my family, put quite simply, is that it's very hard for me to tweet about the Invictus Games and tweet about something that means a lot to me, whereas I at the same time really quite hate Twitter by the invasion of privacy."
Although Prince Harry may be tired of expressing himself on social media, he also admitted that he used to be on social networking sites but he is not anymore. E! News reported that despite the prince's aversion to Twitter, Harry encouraged the students to get involved and promote the Games.
While the Buckingham Palace and the Clarence House both use social media to promote the Royal Family's work, 30-year-old Prince Harry has repeatedly expressed his distastes at the way details or pictures of his whereabouts outside of official engagements are publicly published online.
During the event last July, Prince Harry also asked the students questions about why they like using social networking sites. The Daily Mail reported the prince also posed for several pictures with the students while encouraging them to get out of the classroom to take photos and tweet from Olympic locations.
Meanwhile, the Invictus Games took place last September at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London and it was a very successful event that Prince Harry was highly-praised for his efforts in organizing the tournament.
In spite of the fact that Prince Harry really hated the social media, students have flooded several online social networking sites after the event. Students posted photos of the royal prince with captions telling their joy of personally meeting him.
