Though it seemed like the iPhone 6 received mixed reviews from the fans, the tech world is already keen to see the next big Apple innovation as the rumors about the iPhone 7 arise.
According to recent reports, the next iPhone will probably be called iPhone 6S and will hit the market on the second half of 2015, around September, just like the previous Apple releases. According to Focus Taiwan, there will be three different versions of the phone which will be included in the "S Phase": iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and the other one still unnamed.
These handsets will more likely follow the built and design of iPhone 6 and will be have an iOS 8 integration.
In a different report from G4Games, it is speculated that the iPhone 7 or iPhone 6S will be specifically made for one-hand use, which would indicate a 4-inch screen capacity.
It is not clear yet on whether they are going to pattern it to iPhone 5S, which also has a 4-inch screen display, or if they are going to create an entirely new design from scratch.
Meanwhile, there is another change in Apple's production process as Focus Taiwan also reported of the shift from Foxconn to Pegatron manufacturing.
"For the next product cycle ... we believe for the first time in the iPhone history, Pegatron will become the main source for assembly, with more than 50 percent of the 4.7-inch allocation," according to Focus Taiwan.
"There is also a small possibility that Pegatron will win the 5.5-inch model as well," added the site.
However, they did not indicate any reason why Apple is strengthening ties with Pegatron.
