Pixar has released "Inside Out's" official trailer, which shows the battle of personified emotions, Huffington Post reported.
The first teaser published in October showed the feelings of lead character Riley. The second clip uploaded on Wednesday revealed what goes into the mind of Riley's parents as they deal with the angst filled teen.
The trailer opens up with the family eating dinner. The mother starts asking her sulky daughter about school and notices that there is something wrong with the way Riley is responding. The woman attempts to signal her husband about their daughter's behavior but the man's brain is preoccupied with sports.
Finally, the husband detects and struggles to catch up with the conversation. Riley's personified emotions joy, disgust, anger, fear, and sadness battle inside her head. Anger wins in the young girl's head and her father reacts with annoyance as well.
The clip is a clear representation of the movie's plot. "Inside Out" is directed by Pete Docter, the same person behind the critically acclaimed animated movie "Up." Docter has shared the story behind his upcoming film.
"I started doing a film about growing up, but it's turned out it's a film about me watching my kids grow up. These parents are realizing that their kid is changing. That's difficult. But it is a part of life." Docter said, according to Screen Rant.
The film is expected to attract all audiences since it showcases the mindset of the teen and parent. Diane Lane and Kyle MacLachlan will be the voices behind Riley's parents. Riley will be voiced by Kaitlyn Dias, Digital Spy reported.
The personified emotion Joy will be voiced by Amy Poehler. Mindy Kaling will portray Disgust. Anger, Fear and Sadness will be played by Lewis Black, Bill Hader and Phyliis Smith respectively.
"Inside Out" will hit the US theatres on June 19, 2015, and in the UK on July 24.
