Shailene Woodley would love to play as a super hero in a Marvel film, Comic Book reported.
For the past few years, Marvel has released its line of superhero movies that became box office hits and gained thousands of followers. Shailene Woodley is no exception and the actress has expressed her desire to play as a super hero in a Marvel film.
"I would love to be in a superhero movie if it was Marvel. Their movies are so much fun to watch. They take you on a ride. I love how they're all interconnected," Woodley said.
The young star further explained her interest in a role with super powers.
"There's something about going to those big blockbuster films, where you watch people fly across the sky and have long, stretchy arms or these supernatural powers. It's a form of escapism," Woodley added.
Marvel may consider her as a part of their future films since the actress has a strong fan base. Recently, Woodley was hailed as the number one female celebrity for "IMDb's Top 10 Stars of 2014."
IMDb's managing editor Keith Simanton shared why Woodley got the number one spot.
"This was Shailene Woodley's breakout year. She has a huge amount of onscreen charisma. And this was the year the world just got her," Simanton said, USA Today reported.
This year, Woodley has portrayed as Mary Jane Watson in Marvel's "The Amazing Spiderman 2", however, her scenes were deleted in the final production. Director Marc Webb explained that her character would hinder the growing relationship of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy.
The actress has moved on from the incident and has starred in hit movies such as "The Fault in Our Stars" and "Divergent." Rumors surfaced that she is in the list for the all women cast of "Ghostbusters 3." The female celebrity shared her "Ghostbusters 3" dream cast.
"I think Emma Stone would bring so much comedic value to that. She's so funny. And you know, I really love this actress called Juno Temple," Woodley said, according to MTV.
Meanwhile, Woodley's next film "Divergent: Series: Insurgent" will hit theatres on March 20, 2015.
