The trailer for "The Little Prince" attracted fans all over the world although it is in French, The Inquisitr reported.

Antoine de Sainte-Exupery's bestselling book "The Little Prince" is now a movie. The trailer which was released over the weekend was highly admired.

Fans posted on Twitter to express their feelings after watching the clip. Social media users said that the teaser made them emotional. Some followers even shared the video and captioned it as beautiful and magical.

The hit novel will personify in the eyes of a young girl. Although the entire clip is in French, the story is still clear. A little girl bonds with an old man next door and discovers the Little Prince along the way.

The old man is most likely the pilot in the book who met the young prince when he crashed his plane in the Sahara desert. The prince proceeded to tell him stories about his home town, which is an asteroid in space.

Rough translations of the short video emerged and the old man supposedly says:  "I've flown almost everywhere in the world ... until something miraculous happened."

The old man adds: "I've always wanted to find someone to share my story with, but I think this world, it's become too adult. It's only the beginning of the story!" CNN reported.

Meanwhile, the book was published in 1943 and sold about 140 million copies worldwide.  The beautiful story of the little prince has been adapted several times in opera, ballet and a 1974 movie.

The upcoming film is a special adaptation using computer generated effects and paper craft animation.  Director Mark Osborne from "Kung Fu Panda" is behind the movie.

The English version will be voiced by Hollywood stars such as Rachel Mc Adams, James Franco, Marion Cotillard, Ricky Gervais, Benicio del Toro and Mackenzie Foy for the young girl, according to Geek Tyrant.

The film will be released in France on Oct. 7 2015. Release date for the US and UK has not been announced yet.
