Miley Cyrus hospitalized for a minor wrist surgery on Friday, People reported.

Miley Cyrus underwent a minor surgery to remove a cyst on her wrist on Friday.  A source has revealed the pop star's current condition.

"She is fine. She had an outpatient procedure on her wrist yesterday," the source said.

The singer posted several Instagram photos related to her operation. Cyrus shared a photo of herself wearing a hospital gown with the caption: "The gown is sooooo hipster."

The "Wrecking Ball" singer even posted edited photos of her wrist in the middle of the surgery. The first photo showed Cyrus' open wrist with a smiley inside, which made fans react with disgust. A follower named 26dr wrote: "this is disgusting someone explain why people even like it."

Another Instagram user, world_of_f commented: "Oh God... What the actual fuck is this?!! Can someone explain it to me?"

Cyrus is pretty well known for her photo shopped pictures on Instagram but the surgery images were quite graphic. Other than that, she shared the same mid surgery photos with various edited images such as a pizza slice, Justin Bieber and Elvis Presley.
