‘Glee’ Season 6 [SPOILERS] New Directions With Rachel, Kurt To Face Mr. Schue’s Vocal Adrenaline?

Uh-oh! "Glee" 6 will apparently feature a messy battle between the former vocal coach and Mckinley High's alums. Spoilers released ahead of the Jan. 9 return of Fox's hit musical series hint that Mr. Shue (Matthew Morrison) is going to battle it out against the New Directions that is now under the tutelage of school alums Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer).
Following a not so prolific and fulfilling journey in New York City, BFFs Rachel and Kurt are headed to McKinley High in the final season in hopes of restoring the defunct glee club of their Alma Mater, Fashion Times has learned.
Now, although it's supposed to be good news for show fans, the celebration will be cut off shortly since it can be noted that at the end of the previous season, Sue (Jane Lynch) has actually enlisted Mr. Schue to be the music coach of Carmel High's Vocal Adrenaline. Yikes!
Given the situation, fans can expect a bombastic explosion of vocals when New Directions faces Vocal Adrenaline in the finale. Of course, many are also hoping that this will not get in between their personal relationships. But a little bit of drama here and there won't hurt.
Another thing to watch out for when 'Glee' returns for Season 6 is the re-appearance of singer-actress Gloria Estefan as the mother of Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera), Design & Trend reports.
The 57-year-old actress confirmed her guesting on the show's final run when she posted a photo from the set on Instagram. She captioned it, "Early call time here on the set of Glee (GsPeeps)." Estefan made her debut appearance as Maribel on "Glee" back in Season 3.
Finally, the hit series is reportedly going all out in the upcoming season by incorporating a "Let It Go" rendition performed by no less than the show's lead actress, Michele, according to Latinos Post.
Back in September, Michele already teased about this when she took to social media to post a set photo, which she captioned, "don't care.. What they're going to say.. Let the storm rage on.. The cold never bothered me anyway..."
While Michele's character Rachel's performance of "Let It Go" has somewhat been confirmed, is there still room for a big surprise like a duet from the song's original singer Idina Menzel?
It isn't clear whether Menzel, who plays Rachel's biological mother Shelby, will be back in the upcoming season, but fans are already holding their breath on that one.
"Glee" Season 6 is set to premiere with a two-hour special on Jan. 9, Friday, at 8/7c before returning to its 9/8c time slot the following week.
