Jessica Sanchez has been wowing the judges on "American Idol" and last night was no different. The 16-year-old California native who has covered music icons like Whitney Houston and Beyonce took a stab at Houston again last night and did not disappoint.
Sanchez covered Houston's 1985 hit "How Will I Know" and while she usually sticks to slower ballads, Sanchez was confident in her portrayal of the upbeat song.
"You're such a little girl, but there's a woman up there at the same time," judge Jennifer Lopez said. "Your vocals just make everything go away for me. I listen to you and I can't believe those vocals are coming out of that little body."
"You did an amazing job, I can't believe the maturity in you," Randy Jackson said.
"Everything you do is beautiful," Steven Tyler said. "Everything you do is great."
Last week Sanchez covered Beyonce's acoustic version of her hit song "Sweet Dreams" and earned a standing ovation when she tackled Houston's "I Will Always Love You."
