The "Ridiculously Photogenic Guy" Zeddie Little continues to gain worldwide popularity with nearly 1.4 million people having viewed his photograph, in recent days, on Flickr and picture being re-uploaded countless times to other social networking Web sites like Facebook and Twitter.

It was all very simple - he managed a smile in the middle of an exhausting 10km run in Charleston, in the US state of South Carolina. That smile was photographed and now both his smile and he have gone viral.

It was a South Carolina-based systems analyst and part-time amateur photographer called Will King who took that phtotograph and then uploaded the snaps to his Flickr account, where, according to a report in the Post and Courier, a friend of King's commented on Little's photograph: "I dub this guy Mr. Ridiculously Photogenic".

The rest, as they say, was history.

There was, incidentally, a similar overnight sensation who ruled the Internet - the "Cigar Guy" - who was extensively covered by the media, back in 2010.

For those who have forgotten, "the Cigar Guy" - Rupesh Shingadia - a 30 year old software analyst from England - shot to fame when Daily Mail photographer Mark Pain captured an amazing image of Tiger Woods botching a chip shot on the 18th hole during the Ryder Cup competition.

However, more than that shot, it was the googly-eyed man in the gallery behind Woods, wearing a ginger wig, Groucho Marx mustache and chomping on an enormous cigar that drew the attention.

The Daily Mail released the picture of the man dubbed as the "Cigar Guy" and it turned to be a worldwide online phenomenon.

Shingadia's journey to fame began with morphed images. The "Cigar Guy's" face was pasted in the middle of historical events - from the first moon landing to the cover of The Beatles' "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". His head was even pasted on to Muhammad Ali's body, as Ali struck a triumphant pose over a defeated opponent.

When Shingadia was eventually tracked down and interviewed, the world learnt he had purchased his costume online, to dress up as one of his favourite golfers - Spanish pro Miguel Angel Jimenez.

Both of them charmed the world overnight but who looked better and grabbed your heart?
