Neither did the "Ridiculously Photogenic guy" Zeddie Little nor Will King, the amateur photographer who took his picture, ever imagine that the picture, taken as a mere coincidence when Little was looking straight at the camera would go viral and make him world famous!
The 25-year-old man is stunned with all the fame and popularity bestowed upon him by the world and apparently does not want the attention.
"I've talked to him. He says he's trying to lay low. He doesn't want the attention," said Will king, while talking to live5news.com.
Will uploaded some 100 pictures on his Flickr account, out of the 600 he took on the day of the Cooper River Bridge Run in South Carolina. One of his friends saw Little's picture and commented "I dub this man 'Ridiculously Photogenic Guy,'" and that's how the whole thing started. The picture received over 1.45 million hits on Reddit.com and it has never stopped circulating ever since.
"People have been calling me offering me money for the picture so they can use it in advertisements. I'm not selling it because I'd have to have Little's permission. It's his face," said King.
According to Little's father, Zeddie Little IV, who also goes by the name Jack, said that his son, a New York resident, moved from Charleston to Brooklyn and has taken up a job at a PR firm for a music venue, nydailynews.com reported.
Jack, who spoke to the Charleston City Newspaper, also added that Little has always kept to himself and he deserves the attention that he is getting.
"Oh, I'm excited for him," Jack said. "Yeah, I mean he's always been very quiet and very conscientious and never wanted any attention, and I think he's very much deserving of it."
He also described his son as ambitious and smart, interested in food and someone who is in tune with what is happening in New York.
Little reportedly has a girlfriend of five years and is "very committed," according to his father.
Although multiple fan pages appeared on Facebook as soon as the photo went viral, a new Facebook page appeared on Friday with a profile photo that looks a lot like Little, but it is likely that it is just another tribute to the handsome young man. Messages to the creator of the page have not been returned.
