Chris Rock Net Worth - Since Chris Rock's memorable role on Saturday Night Live, the Brooklyn-raised comedian has grown to become one of the most recognizable African American rib crackers in the country. Now, with a pending divorce from his wife who he's been married to for nearly two decades, there's a question of how much is Chris Rock's net worth.
According to multiple sources, Chris Rock's net worth is about $70 million. It is immediately unclear if Rock signed a prenuptial agreement with his wife and how their divorce will affect his wealth.
The 49-year-old actor/comedian is also a screenwriter, producer and director. Rock directed and wrote his latest big screen flick Top Five, which he stars in alongside Rosario Dawson and Gabrielle Union.
Rock's recent appearances with Dawson to promote the movie have spurned rumors that a relationship between the two is the reason for the split with his estranged wife Malaak Compton-Rock. Reports indicate that the two hooked up while they were working on Top Five, but have decided to keep their relationship a secret out of respect for Rock's marriage.
Rock married Malaak in 1996. The two of them have two daughters - Lola Simone and Zahra Savannah - who are aged 12 and 10 respectively.
Rock's divorce attorney Robert S. Cohen has revealed that his client needs privacy as he works through his split from his wife.
Meanwhile, Malaak, who runs a nonprofit salon Style Works, has echoed the same calls for privacy as they work through their divorce.
Reports indicate that Rock and his wife have not been living together for the past two years. Chris Rock does not appear to have spent the Christmas with his wife. He seems to have spent the day with his mother in Queens, New York.
On Christmas Day, the comedian posted an image of the legendary Hip Hop group Run DMC photo shopped with Santa hats on social media, along with a message saying "It's Christmas time in Hollis queens moms cooking chicken and collard greens."
