After a month-long midseason hiatus, "Revenge" Season 4 makes an intense television premiere on Sunday, Jan. 4 with its episode 11, entitled "Epitaph" on ABC. The new episode delivered a startlingly emotional television event. Though Daniel Grayson's (Josh Bowman) death didn't always have a huge impact on the story, his death could have some lasting significance.
While Daniel's death drove a deeper wedge to the Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) and Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) on the midseason premiere of "Revenge" Season 4, it also detonated a bomb into the center of the relationship between David Clarke (James Tupper) and Victoria, Hollywood Life reported. Now, an animosity develops between the two characters that has apparently been hidden just beneath the surface.
On the midseason episode 11 premiere of "Revenge" Season 4, Daniel's death brought some chaotic turn as the mystery of his passing begins to unravel. According to Rickey.org, Victoria blames David for her son's death and resents him for the lie she's been forced to tell. But what will be greatly expected this season is Malcolm Black's (Tommy Flanagan) wrath as he avenge his daughter's death.
Black's daughter, Agent Kate Taylor (Courtney Ford), was responsible for the fatal chaos that ended in Daniel's death. As Malcolm Black seeks revenge, International Business Times reported he will take his retribution to a whole level, marking his first kill as he made his Hamptons' debut.
Daniel and Kate's death also brought some surprising turn as David placed Emily and Victoria in an unhappy living arrangement - becoming roommates! (Just imagine the power struggle between the two enemies). Since Vicky is a treacherous villain and Emily became entangled with Black, David decided to bunk them together.
Aside from the David, Emily and Victoria, "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 11 also focuses on the lives of Jack Porter (Nick Wechsler), Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann) and Margaux LeMarchal (Karine Vanasse).
Meanwhile, "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 12 promises some potentially-shocking scenes as it was titled, "Madness." According to Hollywood Hills, the episode 12 will feature David as he wanted to be no longer indebted to Victoria, while daughter Emily will end up assisting Nolan with a scheme.
"David finally decides to settle his debt to Victoria while Emily helps Nolan with a takedown of his own," the short synopsis released by ABC about the next episode.
As Malcolm Black gears up to wreak havoc in the Hamptons, the story also progresses forward that will notably show David Clarke's desire in killing Victoria. However, Carter Matt said that aside from the two men, another character should be watched out is Margaux as she will proceed with her own plans with Emily.
The midseason episodes of "Revenge" Season 4 has intensified and is getting more exciting with more mysteries, lies and vengeance. If its episode 11 created an interesting arc for the fury of a mother scorned as Victoria became most compelling in her grief rather than in her wrath, its episode 12, which is due to air on Jan. 11 at 9 p.m. CT on ABC, teases more intense and intriguing chaos.
