The Walking Dead Season 5 Trailer - AMC has released a short trailer for the remaining episodes of Season 5 of its popular post-apocalyptic drama series The Walking Dead this past Friday.
The last episode of The Walking Dead (episode 8) aired last month left many questions on the minds of viewers. With Beth and Dawn dead as well as the church lost to zombies, Rick and the other survivors are particularly vulnerable.
The Walking Dead season 5 trailer builds on this intensity as Rick says "surviving together is all that matters." The gang would have to come up with a way to escape being attacked as they wander without shelter. The intensity-filled trailer shows them armed and ready as they meander through the wild.
For one, we know Rick may finally reunite with his old friend Morgan. A new poster released by AMC shows Rick looking curiously over Abraham's map of the city, which was last seen in the hands of Morgan.
The reunion of the old friends could increase the gang's chances of survival. Morgan is believed to know a lot about the terrain and the possibility of reuniting with other survivors. There are speculations that Morgan is coming with information about 'The Whisperers' - a group of people who survived by wearing zombie skins. The Whisperers, who are said to be more dangerous than zombies, may actually be hunting Rick and his gang in the upcoming episodes of The Walking Dead.
There have been several speculations about how the remaining episodes of The Walking Dead season 5 will play out.
On Friday, one Reddit disclosed that Andrew Lincoln (Rick) has indicated that he has been eager to film the upcoming episodes (9 and 10).
"So after hearing some interviews with Andrew Lincoln, he has gone on the record saying that Episode is incredible, but episode 10 is the episode that he has always wanted to film. There is also plenty of speculation as to when Morgan will catch up with the group. What id episode 10 is the episode he was always wanted to film, because it means his buddy Lennie James will finally be joining back with the group after their two past meetings in the series," Marauder1 wrote.
Fans will just have to sit tight and wait for what may be one of the most thrilling episodes of the dramatic TV series.
The Walking Dead season 5 episode will air on AMC networks on Feb. 8.
