Ghost Camera Idaho School - One of the oldest high schools in Idaho may be haunted after surveillance footage captured a ghost running through its halls and twitching with the lights incessantly.
According to reports, the incident happened on Dec. 19, in Pocatello High School during the holiday break. When school resumed, administrators were spooked after looking going through the surveillance footage.
The footage convinced administrators that a ghost has been lurking around the school's premises while everyone was away.
The footage, which has since gone viral, features a vague figure standing in the school's doorway making it way to the hallway. Afterwards the figure appears to run back into the class room. The video also shows the lights going and off incessantly at different times.
The school's management has reportedly sought professional help from paranormal investigators. The Scientific Paranormal Investigative Research Organization were contacted and investigators Lisa and John Brian were given the footage for evaluation.
"We have watched it multiple times and even slowed it down and really analyzed it," Lisa Brian said. "It's really a great piece of footage."
"You can just see the lights going on and off, the police were called because of these issues going on in the building-all of that goes to show that it wasn't something someone just put on there, but instead it was something that really happened."
"You can see that it's not necessarily a person, but more so a translucent figure walking down the hall," John said.
The school, which was built in the 1892 and named after Chief Pocatello, a leader of the Shoshone people, has had a long history of events like this - giving the incident more credibility.
There have been at least six deaths in the school which has also been burned to the ground.
"Everything from girls having a suicide pact and hanging themselves on their lockers, to a librarian who hung herself on a the chandelier, to a boy who drowned in the original swimming pool," John said.
"People have even felt someone walking up right behind them where hairs have stood up on their neck and then they turn around, nobody is there," Lisa said.
"Pocatello High School has an incredible history, and so this really opens that door to be able to talk about Pocatello High School and talk about its history and the history of out town," Lisa Brian said.
"That's really important to us as well, because we want to be able to share all of that stuff since we all live here, we all love our city, and so this is kind of a cool way to open our door to some history."
It's unclear what the school's management plans to do next regarding the ghost and if current surveillance footage still captures its movements.
