Conchita Wurst Instagram - The unstoppable Austrian singer-drag queen, Conchita Wurst, stunned Golden Globe watchers as she walked glamorously on the red carpet Sunday night. She was spectacular in her belted green velvet dress with a thigh-high slit, nude heels and of course, her signature beard.

The Austrian stunner is not your average-looking star. Conchita Wurst, who posted an important message on her Instagram account before the event, truly made a statement as she walked the Golden Globes 2015 red carpet.

But who is Conchita Wurst? Based on the link that you can find on her Instagram profile, Wurst described herself as a person with "two hearts beating" in her chest.

"The private person and the fictional character respect and appreciate each other," Wurst, who is also Tom Neuwirth as Yahoo! Style revealed, wrote on her Web site. "They are two independent personalities with their respective individual life stories and they both take a strong stance for tolerance and against discrimination."

Conchita Wurst, who has over a hundred thousand Instagram followers, gained international popularity after joining the Eurovision Song Competition in May 2014. According to Hollywood Life, she is not a transgender but a drag queen alter ego of a gay man. Because of her fame, the 26-year-old Austrian singer has already been photographed in her lingerie by Karl Lagerfeld for CR Fashion Book, and also walked in Jean Paul Gaultier's autumn/winter couture show.

Conchita Wurst is an icon to the LGBT community globally. And she has a powerful statement to those who criticizes her looks.

"I want to show that you can achieve anything that you can have a beautiful life with any kind of look, because the way you look isn't the most important thing in life," Wurst stated. "It doesn't matter."

Meanwhile, Conchita Wurst was definitely a showstopper at the 2015 Golden Globes. But what made her more remarkable was the message she posted on Instagram and Twitter.

"Always try to see behind the curtain. <3 #theunstoppables #JeSuisCharlie @GoldenGlobes" she tweeted with a photo about freedom of speech and expression.

"The Golden Globes are an event that brings the glamour of Hollywood into living rooms across the planet," Conchita Wurst posted on Instagram and Twitter, as quoted by E! News. "But let's not forget that events like this are also a strong showcase of the diversity and seriousness in entertainment as an art form. Recent events in Europe have shown that freedom of speech is under attack. Let's unite and keep on with our unstoppable fight for peace and freedom - and freedom of expression!"
