Has the Jennifer Aniston-Angelina Jolie feud finally ended? It seems that the battle between Brad Pitt's current love and ex-wife have reached its climax when Aniston praised Jolie for her directorial work in her film "Unbroken." The highly-acclaimed actresses have avoided each other for years, but on Thursday, Jan. 15, Aniston and Jolie attended the same event, the Critics' Choice Awards 2015.

At the event, 45-year-old Jennifer Aniston walked the red carpet alongside fiancé Justin Theroux while 39-year-old Angelina Jolie attended the event all by herself. According to TMZ, the actresses' same event attendance was their first time in years.

Though there were no chance run-ins, Aniston and Jolie were stunning during the star-studded event, which was held in the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday, Us Weekly reported.

The Academy Awards has snubbed Jennifer Aniston's performances in "Cake" and Angelina Jolie's directorial talent in "Unbroken." However, both ladies earned nods at the 2015 Critics' Choice Awards for Best Actress and Best Director respectively.

Meanwhile, the ever-forgiving Jennifer Aniston has finally put an end to her media-constructed feud against Angelina Jolie. During her interview with ET Online, Aniston has praised Jolie and has nothing but kind words for the current Mrs. Pitt.

"I think that's slowly coming to an end. I really do," Aniston said about her alleged rivalry with Jolie. "I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful and she did such a gorgeous job. I think that it's time people stop with that petty B.S. and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness."

Aniston also shared that she was not even frustrated about the never-ending rumors. She said it's better for everyone to just get over it.

"It's just tiresome and old," she added. "It's like an old leather shoe. Let's buy a new pair of shiny shoes."

Jennifer Aniston has already moved on from her separation with Brad Pitt, who is now happily married to Angelina Jolie. Currently, she has been engaged to actor-writer Justin Theroux for two years. And in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Aniston opened up about the significance of forgiveness in one's life.

"I think it's extremely important to forgive," she stated. "Otherwise it just builds up like toxic waste. There's nothing worse than holding a grudge. Listen, people can do unforgivable things, but you have to let it go and say, 'Look, we're all human beings. We make mistakes.' To hold any kind of resentment is like taking rat poison and waiting for the rat to die."
