Days of rumors regarding Galaxy S3 are gone, at least that's what we thought when we heard the news about Samsung's invitation for a press event in London May 3. However, we appear to be wrong as seemingly the smartphone lovers are not letting the rumors die. The latest one which rolled out of the rumor mill is another "leaked" image of Galaxy S3.

The latest images are shared by the Gizmodo Brazil and these photos have striking resemblance with photos that were posted several days ago via GSM Helpdesk Netherlands.

While some websites like SoftPedia are claiming that the leaked image can be a real one, The Verge says "They are on the right track" but are not correct.

Reportedly, Samsung is using "generic test boxes" for the quality check of the next Galaxy model and allowing employees to use the phones outside the company premises without being spotted. Gizmodo has used images of one of those dummy boxes, reported The Verge. "That's not even close to the final design," added the website saying, "No leaks of the final design have been accurate."

Latest Rumors about Features of Galaxy S3 - 'Superlative' or Minor?

Although CNET has reported that that Samsung's upcoming flagship phone will be "a relatively minor update" from the Galaxy S2, "with a speed boost and eye-tracking among the upgrades," The Verge assured its readers to "Expect superlative benchmark performance."

While rumors suggest that the name of Galaxy S3 may finally not be Galaxy S3, it also suggests that the phone will boast a feature called "Human Interaction," a new eye-tracking technology using the phone's front-facing camera "to detect when you're looking at the screen -- when you're writing a text for example -- and is able to lock when you look away."

The 4.7-inch phone is also expected to feature a quad-core CPU (chances are more for a 32nm Cortex-A9 based Exynos rather than Tegra which is  being used in HTC One X), 1GB of RAM (not 2GB RAM what we thought earlier) and Samsung's own LTE modem built in.

Another report suggested that S3 will feature a five column UI, rather than four columns on the S II and contrary to the popular belief, this phone will not have 3D screen display.

While it is expected to be thinner than S2, the next flagship Galaxy phone will be heavier than its predecessor due to its ceramic body.

As far as the display is concerned, Galaxy S3 is expected to sport a true Super AMOLED HD panel with 1280×720-pixel resolution and more than 319 ppi, a significant leap from the previous model's 4.3-inch size and 800 x 480 pixels and 217 ppi pixel density.

The Korean Digital Daily has claimed that Galaxy S3 will finally provide a physical home button with Galaxy S3.

There's nothing left for anticipation as Samsung will certainly pack Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS in the new device.  And the S3 is also expected to receive the latest TouchWiz UI version 5.0.

The phone is expected to come with 32/64 GB internal storage. It will also have an external microSD card slot to extend the memory by at least 32 GB.

The Korean giant is rumored to pack in a 12-megapixel rear camera with a 2 megapixel front-facing shooter for video chats. Earlier in October, Samsung's imaging development teams announced that the company was heavily into providing a 16 megapixel mobile sensor. The camera will boast LED flash, autofocus and full HD (1080p@60fps) video recording features. A slow-motion feature for the video camera can be expected as well.

Apart from the 4G LTE support, Galaxy S3 will also support HSDPA+ (42Mbps) and HSUPA (5.76Mbps), Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and HDMI output, claimed some anonymous source. The phone might also support a "dual carrier HSPA," added the same source.

Galaxy S3 is predicted to come with a 2250 mAh (or a modest 1750 mAh) battery.

Wireless Charging, Waterproof Casings and 3D Lenticular image technology are also expected to be seen in the most-awaited smartphone of 2012, Samsung Galaxy S3.

Tightest Security During Launch of Galaxy S3

According to the latest Verge report, security surrounding the preparation and launch of the Galaxy S3 will be tighter than it has ever been for any other product in Samsung's history. Till date, when the Internet is buzzing vehemently over the features and probable date of release if Galaxy S3, the Korean giant has remained tight lipped about all the rumored and possible features. The same secrecy has maintained even in the invitations where the Korean giant has not even mentioned the name of the phone, rather used the phrase "next Galaxy" for the May 3 event in London.
