Spanish football giants Barcelona and Atletico Madrid will meet again on the field Wednesday at Camp Nou to determine the team advancing into the semifinal round of the Copa del Rey (Live Stream at Sky Go & Sports Stream/ Stats & Update).
What's at Stake?
Barcelona, rocked by crisis on and off the field, has a golden opportunity to shut up its critics by holding off Atletico Madrid in the second-leg of their Copa del Rey quarterfinal clash.
This year's campaign has been rough for Barcelona, who had to deal with so many issues on and off the field. Aside from the pending FIFA transfer ban and continues rumors surrounding its main gunner Lionel Messi, Barcelona is also having trouble finding fluidity on the field despite their three-headed striking force of Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.
However, things could start to go well for the Catalonian ball club, especially if they are able to subdue a very tough Atletico Madrid side on their home turf.
"Throughout the season there are lots of different moments. We have had some good times and others a bit more delicate due to our results and the atmosphere in which we have to work," Barcelona manager Luis Enrique told the pre-match news conference on Tuesday via ESPN FC Wednesday."
Meanwhile, the defending Spanish La Liga champion is expected to retaliate with better a game-plan and effort in their attempt to pull off a stunner in front of a raucous crowd at Camp Nou.
Starting Lineup for Second Leg of Copa Del Rey Quarterfinal:
Barcelona: Marc-André ter Stegen, Gerard Piqué, Javier Mascherano, Jordi Alba, Dani Alves, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Andres Ineista, Luis Suarez, Neymar and Messi.
Atletico Madrid: Job Oblak, Guillherme Siqueira, Juanfran, Jose Gimenez, Miranda, Mario Suarez, Raul Garcia, Arda Turan, Gabi, Fernando Torres, Antoine Griezman.
