Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill appeared to have confirmed their relationship status after their kissing Instagram snapshot was posted. Us Weekly revealed the photo was shared on Feb. 2, Monday. Since Nicki did not write any caption for the intimate picture, several fans assumed the rappers are dating.

In the past month, Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have been spotted together for several times. And after they were reportedly seen holding hands earlier this week, the alleged couple are indeed publicly displaying their affections towards each other in the latest Instagram image, HotNewHipHop reported.

Speculations about Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill's relationship spread when they collaborated on two songs of her recent album, "The Pinkprint." Mill, who recently got out of jail, was reportedly smitten.

Nicki Minaj's Instagram post fueled rumors that she is dating Meek Mill came after her breakup with longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels, whom she have dated for 11 years. The couple's relationship came to an end last year, which inspired Minaj's latest album. However, Hollywood Life reported Samuels is not taking Minaj's dating rumors well.

"[Safaree has been] confiding in friends that he's an emotional wreck over his breakup with Nicki after a 12-year relationship," TMZ revealed. "He's become a shut-in, spends days and nights smoking weed, and has talked openly about suicide."

And though Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill's Instagram photo suggested a blossoming romance, International Business Times UK said there will be one person who won't be giving his blessings - Samuels. And while Nicki told her Twitter followers she was single and ready to mingle, Samuels clued that the "Super Bass" singer preferred a single life.

"If that's who she decides to move on with, it is what it is," Samuels said during an interview with Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club." "I'm not mad, I'm not bitter because if I wanted to make it work, I could've made it work."

While Nicki Minaj's Instagram photo suggested a brewing romance, the rapper clarified the rumors in a Power 106 FM radio interview last December.

"We're friends," she said. "We're friends, he's dope, shout-out to him."
