The Grammy Awards 2015 will be the event most music enthusiasts are waiting for. According to New York Daily News, over 80 awards will be given out prior and during the show's telecast on Sunday.
Who among the music industry's bigwigs will be hailed as winners and who among the nominees will make a spectacular performance on stage?
Here are the 7 need-to-know facts about the Grammy Awards 2015.
1. The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be airing live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on CBS Television Network on Sunday, Feb. 8, from 8 to 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). CBS News reveals a live streaming coverage can also be viewed with CBS All Access at CBS.com.
2. LL Cool J will be taking on the responsibility to host the Grammys 2015. Time reports it will be the rapper's forth hosting duty in a row.
3. Grammy Awards 2015 pre-telecast, where majority of the awards will be presented, begins at 4 p.m. on its official Web site. It will be hosted by Cyndi Lauper.
4. For the Grammy Awards 2015 performances, Washington Post shares Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney will stage a debut live performance for their new song collaboration, "FourFiveSeconds." While Katy Perry will perform "By the Grace of God."
Duets from Mary J. Blige and Sam Smith; Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga; Jessie J and Tom Jones; Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani and solo performances from Madonna; Sia; Ariana Grande; Miranda Lambert; Ed Sheeran; Sam Smith; Usher and Pharrell Williams should not to be missed.
5. Among the top picks for the Grammy Awards 2015 are Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams and Sam Smith, Forbes predicts. Also making it to the list are Iggy Azalea, Beck, Eric Church, engineer Tom Coyne, Drake, Gordon Goodwin, Jay Z, Miranda Lambert, Sia, Usher and Jack White, CBS News reports. 6. In every awards night, the red carpet event is also highly-anticipated. As usual, E! hosts Ryan Seacrest and Guiliana Rancic will cover the "Live from the Red Carpet" at 6 p.m. while a livestream will be available on its Web site.
Pop (formerly TV Guide Channel) will also air a three-hour red carpet show at 5 p.m. with "Entertainment Tonight" co-hosts Nancy O'Dell and Kevin Frazier as presenters. And CBS assigns Tyler Oakley to interview celebs, which will be seen on CBS.com or the network's You Tube channel.
7. Since there will be a red carpet show on the Grammy Awards 2015, the "Fashion Police" team including Kathy Griffin, Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski will critique all the clothes of the celebs. It will be aired on Monday at 9 p.m. with special guests Ne-Yo and Katherine McPhee.
