Elinor Trotta Amber Alert: Amber Alert Issued For 3-Year-Old Delaware Girl Abducted By Father Fleeing After Assaulting Mother

Elinor Trotta Amber Alert - An Amber Alert has been issued for a 3-year-old girl, who was abducted by her father after he assaulted the his ex-girlfriend, the child's mother, in her home in New Castle, Delaware.
The incident, which now spans different states, began on Monday around 6.45 p.m. when Delaware police received a call reporting a domestic assault. The woman reported that her ex 44-year-old Michael Trotta came to her home assaulted her and took their child away.
According to reports, the child, Elinor Trotta, was last seen at 7 p.m. Sunday on 800 East Basin Road in New Castle. She may be in 'imminent danger', she is described as being white, weighing 60 pounds with brown shoulder length hair.
She was last seen wearing a purple puffy coat, pink pants and sneakers branded with 'Frozen,' the movie.
Police are searching for Trotta, who is believed to be armed and dangerous. He is described a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 160 pounds. Trotta is balding and is wearing a short haircut, scruffy beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing black clothing.
Although Trotta reportedly fled the home with Elinor in a 1989 gray Mazda 626, the car has been recovered. Now authorities believe he may be traveling with a woman in either a gray Ford Mustang or an older model red Ford explorer.
Reports indicate that Trotta may be heading for the Midwest, where he has family residing and he may be traveling through Ohio.
Elinor Trotta's Amber Alert has been activated in three states, Delaware, New Jersey and Ohio.
Authorities are entreating anyone with information regarding her whereabout to call 1-877-AMBER-OH or dial 911.
