Sometimes it doesn't hurt to brag a little. Now WorkSimple, a program that aids in helping individuals and groups manage their careers, can help people do just that. WorkSimple programs help professionals set and share goals, get feedback, and increase outcomes in their careers. Although the programs can be used for any career, the new limited released Personal Edition was created with the careers of software developers in mind.
The objective of the program is to aid software developers in organizing their career goals and accomplishments and to ultimately help them improve their careers. The program provides a visual layout in the form of a portfolio, where there is a complete display of the user's accomplishments, future plans, and much more. Users are given the freedom to display whatever aspects of their professional goals they like. The Personal Edition is similar to a social networking program, just with a job focus.
Once the person has signed up for a WorkSimple account and has added their information, pictures, attachments, and other things they wish to display about their career progress, fellow co-workers and bosses can see what they have posted. The program gives viewers the opportunity to reply, provide advice and feedback, and even provide words of encouragement in response to what they have viewed on the individual's personalized page.
Program users can see who is viewing their work and commenting on it through analytics provided on the Personal Edition. This can show users whether employers they may be interested in have reviewed their qualifications or looked over their accomplishments.
"We want to help every professional create a true work story in a visual way that drives the best feedback for them. WorkSimple shows what social performance and career management can do if they work together," said Ben Moore, co-founder of WorkSimple.
The Personal Edition of WorkSimple is free but is a limited edition. Those interested in using the program must request an invitation code.
