"Bones" Season 10 midseason episodes will finally kick off on Thursday, March 26. And as the well-loved FOX crime series makes its much-anticipated comeback on primetime television, the show promises exciting and dramatic encounters.
Since the long-running series took its winter hiatus, fans are patiently looking forward to "Bones" Season 10 midseason episodes. According to Latin Post, the show has 11 back-to-back new episodes that will start on Thursday.
As previously reported, "Bones" Season 10 will revisit Agent Seeley Booth's (David Boreanaz) gambling addiction, which will spark some marital issues with his wife, Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel). TVLine revealed guest star Gavin Chadwick will be Booth's longtime sponsor at his gamblers anonymous meeting. In order to help Booth in his recovery, Chadwick's character will encourage him to open up during the meetings.
In the upcoming twelfth episode of the series titled, "The Teacher in the Books" airing on Apr. 2, Brennan makes social media interesting as she joins the micro-blogging site, Twitter.
"When an affluent school teacher is found dead in an abandoned bookstore, the teachers and students at her school become suspects in the case," episode 12 official synopsis reads, as CarterMatt quoted. "Meanwhile, Brennan's publisher encourages her to join Twitter to help grow her fan base, and "squintern" Jessica Warren (Laura Spencer) teaches Brennan some tricks to master the Twitter-verse, skills Brennan enthusiastically puts to use."
Meanwhile, showrunner Stephen Nathan offered some "Bones" Season 10 teasers. As per Screen Fad, Nathan revealed that Brennan's pregnancy is going to have "a little bit more impact" on the show this season. He also added that the baby will not be born during the tenth season.
"Brennan's pregnancy will have a tremendous impact on this series, certainly giving us a season finale that is deeply affected by it." Nathan explained then added that the plan is to have a time jump when the eleventh season starts.
Additionally, the Jeffersonian team will also deal a very different serial killer threatening the second half of "Bones" Season 10, TV Guide shared.
"Our other serial killers have existed for great, huge arcs, so they've had to be quite complex," creator Hart Hanson said. "This serial killer does not stick around for very long, so that killer's motivations are a little clearer than and not as bizarre as we've had before."
In a separate spoiler report, CarterMatt said Ryan O'Neal will return in the series. In the 14th episode titled, "The Putter in the Rough," which will air on Apr. 16, Brennan's dad Max Keenan will make a surprising visit. Furthermore, Mstarz revealed than Brennan will discover some of her father's most-kept secrets.
"Yes, we get to the bottom of and explain certain things from my childhood," Deschanel said. "Max lies to me again and doesn't tell me where he's going, and I get very suspicious. But then things are revealed that help us understand certain things about Max, his history and my history with him."
