Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd announced that it will be releasing a new employment based website called Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia Careers. The company is responsible for construction, mining, and forestry machinery sales and services for the Hitachi, John Deere and Bell construction machinery brands.
Some of the site's feature include information about employee benefits and a new training academy for employees.
"In today's highly competitive employment market coupled with our plans for significant growth, we are pleased to launch a website solely focused on careers with Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia," said Chris Turner, National Human Resources Manager at HCA, to prweb.com.
The purpose of the site is to provide those looking for careers with the company to not only apply for openings, but also to learn more about the company through the perspective of current employees. Turner says that the company's success is due largely to the people who work there.
"We are proud of our position in the marketplace as a leader, which in turn, is highly dependent on the extremely talented people that work here," says Turner.
He adds, "To maintain and enhance this position we will continue attracting the best and brightest the construction and mining industries have to offer and we feel that this website is a reflection of that ambition."
The website takes an innovative approach by allowing visitors to get live video feedback about working at the company, from those employed there.
Turner says, "The website also features new media, where visitors can see and hear for themselves how our employees respond when asked 'what's it like working with Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia?.'"
Those looking for careers within the company are encouraged to visit the website often, as it will be consistently updated.
