Nina Dobrev dating Chris Wood? Several sources say yes and there are also insiders claiming she's just on the rebound to make ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder jealous.
According to Hollywood Life, dating rumors between Dobrev and Wood surfaced when they were spotted hitting up a Spartan Race to unwind. Then, there's also the obvious flirting between the two on Instagram.
Wood even shared a snap of Nina holding a husky puppy to his face and captioned it: "No pain, no husky. #SpartanRace."
Insiders close to the rumored couple said the twosome got close since Wood was cast on the CW series 'The Vampire Diaries."
After attending an InStyle after party for the Golden Globes, Dobrev was even spotted exiting the venue with a "mystery man" who is believed to be Chris Wood.
There is also the story that Dobrev and Wood go on a date to watch Super Bowl, but this was slammed when it was found out that Chris attended the event with co-star Matt Davis instead of Dobrev.
Interestingly, Celebrity Dirty Laundry insists that Dobrev may be up to something and it could only be one of the two things: either she is dating Wood and she wants the world to know about their romance or she's just using her co-star to make her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder jealous.
Of course, the second one is unbelievable since Somerhalder is happily engaged to Nina's ex-BFF Nikki Reed. The "TVD" actor and the "Twilight" actress are even on the process of planning their wedding.
Meanwhile, Dobrev also made headlines last week when she announced to her fans via Instagram that she's not returning for the seventh run of "Vampire Diaries," The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
"I've just spent the most beautiful weekend on Lake Lanier in Georgia with my own TVD Family, the cast and crew of The Vampire Diaries. I want to be the first to tell you that it wasn't just a holiday celebration, it was a goodbye party," she wrote.
Dobrev added, "I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six-season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime."
